The John Searl Story is a science-adventure documentary that chronicles the extraordinary life of a man, and his scientific claims so globally important that governments had little choice but to ignore him.

Born on May 2, 1932 in Wantage, John Roy Robert Searl grew up in Suffolk in the eastern part of England. A series of recurring childhood dreams led him to design a revolutionary power generator fueled by magnets, and levity discs that emulated the flight characteristics displayed by many UFO’s.

It is said that the first Sunday of every month between 1968 and 1972, Searl demonstrated his generators and flying discs to the general public. Television cameramen and newspaper reporters were supposedly present for the events, and Searl even claims to have demonstrated his flying disc to US military personnel who claimed the G-force exhibited by the remote-controlled device would be deadly to any pilot. Searl's breakthrough theories would prove them wrong.

Not surprisingly, opposition to a fuel-less device was fierce. Multi-billion dollar industries and mainstream scientists quickly labelled Searl a crackpot. He was subjected to ridicule and torment, fell victim to arson and theft, was imprisoned and left destitute. His research and devices were destroyed. But, John Searl is still alive today. And continues his mission to prove his truth and rebuild his amazing generator.
